1. Who is a good fit for practice integration?

2. Why integrate your panel with One Medical?

   Providers pursue practice integration with One Medical for a variety of reasons. You may be looking to spend more time with patients, or less time and resources on administration. Some want to partner with an established organization with successful branding and marketing. Or, you’re winding down from practicing medicine and you want to ensure you’re leaving your patients in good hands.

3. What does the practice integration process look like?

   It all starts with a conversation. After we agree your practice is a strong candidate for integration, we’ll conduct an in-depth review of your practice to ensure a mutual fit. We’ll also connect you with our local team for interviews to get to know you better — and give you a chance to get to know us!

   Once you officially start with One Medical, we partner with you throughout the integration process, including onboarding, prospective member education, and an integrated communications plan to share the news with your patients.

4. What happens to my patients?

   One Medical welcomes any of your patients who would like to join our practice! One Medical is a membership-based primary care practice, and our members pay an annual membership fee to enjoy our membership services. When you integrate your practice with One Medical, we can work with you to support your patients in their transition to a membership-based practice. Your patients who join One Medical will be able to continue seeing you at your new office, as well as visit any provider at any of our other locations or remotely at their convenience.

5. Will patients still be able to use their insurance?

   Yes, One Medical accepts most major insurance and Medicare plans, check out our insurance participation list here

6. What does the membership fee cover?

   What your patients get with membership:

   Access to 24/7 care. Your patients can connect to on-demand care over video, message with our care team, renew prescriptions, and book appointments via our app or website.

   Ability to easily book appointments at any of our 125+ offices via the One Medical app. All our providers have access to patients’ complete One Medical health history — so they can get truly personalized care wherever they work, live, and travel.

   Help navigating the system. From billing questions and insurance issues to specialist referrals, our care team is here to help guide your patients through the healthcare maze.

   The annual membership fee covers the costs associated with the following member benefits:

   • 24/7 on-demand care with Video Chat at no extra cost and NO copays
   • Messaging with their provider in the app
   • Easy booking of same/next-day appointments in the app
   • In-app prescription requests and renewals
   • Experts to help navigate the healthcare maze
   • Online access to their health summaries and care plans

7. How is One Medical’s membership different from Concierge Medicine?

   When people hear “membership-based,” they often think that means a super pricey, concierge-style practice. That’s not the case at One Medical. A One Medical membership, at just $199 per year (or about $16 per month), allows us to provide services that go beyond traditional primary care and provide services not covered by most insurance — like ease of access for patients via our technology platform and a more balanced work life for you.

   There are no co-pays for on-demand virtual care services available as part of our membership, which often leads to health care savings. For in-person care, our offices take most major medical insurances, just like a typical doctor’s office.
